Stop hand

Warhead is the main antagonist and final boss of the video game Vectorman.

Biography[]

Throughout VectorMan's journey, Warhead unleashes his army of brainwashed Orbots to stop his nemesis and either have him captured for reprogramming or be eliminated. Within some stages, Warhead uses various forms to fight VectorMan during specific stages:

  • The second level has Warhead's upper half clinging onto a seemingly endless railroad track.
  • The seventh level has Warhead's fists engage in "hand to hand" combat on a table.
  • The eleventh stage has Warhad's head spinning around the center of a Disco floor, with his neck attached to the center of the room and almost fully shielded.

Despite Warhead's efforts to reign victorious over his nemesis, VectorMan makes his way to the villain's base: the Worldlink Center. The green robotic blasts his way through the Studio and makes it to the lair of Warhead, where the villain blow open the Studio roof and sweeps VectorMan up into the sky for a final showdown. Warhead sweeps up swirling debris to hurdle toward the hero, but he eventually makes his way up to the top of the tornado, face to face with the Orbot Overlord. After an endiring battle, VectorMan destroys the tyrant, thus making the planet safe for the return of the humans (at least until the sequel game).

Warhead's ruined head shell makes a cameo appearance within VectorMan 2, implying his head was buried deep underground after his destruction by the hands of the green Orbot hero.

Trivia[]

  • In the instruction manual, Warhead's URL is Warhead.@worldlinkcenter.com . It is stated he was responsible for capturing (and possibly eliminating or reprogramming) the unseen Orbot known as Refus Q. Orbot.
  • Concept art for a cancelled Vectorman 3 project displays a Warhead-looking enemy, hinting at a possible planned (yet ultimately cancelled) return for the villain.
