Sekibanki is a youkai that became empowered by the Lucky Mallet's side effects and joined the Youkai Rebellion, appearing for the first time as the second stage boss of Touhou: Double Dealing Character. She is a Rokurokubi who lives undercover at the Human Village, masquerading as a human.
Appearance[]
Sekibanki has red hair and eyes. She wears a blue bow with red trimmings and a red and blue capelet that covers part of her face. She also wears a black and red long sleeved shirt, as well as a dark red skirt and red and black boots.
Abilities[]
This rokurokubi can detach her head and is able to shoot laser beams from it while her body focuses in other attacks, as well as summoning additional heads. To defeat her the player must shoot her weak spot, her body.

Trivia[]
- There has been some confusion whether she is a Nukekubi or Rokurokubi. Even though her detaching-head ability belongs to Nukekubi, her official profile and title read she is a Rokurokubi.
- She is one of the few characters to wear a cape. The other being Wriggle Nightbug, Byakuren Hijiri, Utsuho Reiuji, and Toyosatomimi no Miko as she appears in Hopeless Masquerade.
- She is currently the only one who can "dismember" a part of her whole body. In her case is her head.
- She was shown in a 'sneak-peek' photo when Double Dealing Character was announced.
- It's possible to dodge her beams and attacks by standing in a specific spot, this is reminiscent of Cirno's Icicle Fall.
- When Double Dealing Character was first announced, due to only seeing a small screenshot of Sekibanki where there was one of Sakuya Izayoi's knives next to her, some fans mistakenly speculated that she was either holding a large hammer or a sword.
- Fans also called her "the cape girl" and speculated that she was either Rin Kaenbyou, Kosuzu Motoori, or Yumemi Okazaki.
- After the demo was released, she has been the subject of two main jokes: one being her head getting used like a ball and another having her head be a Yukkuri.
- Sekibanki is also compared to Nadia Fortune, Mami Tomoe, Celty from Skullgirls and Durarara!!, respectively due to obvious circumstances.
