The Curse (DC)

The Curse is a DC Universe villain, and an enemy towards Doctor Fate.

History

Curse's Past

The Curse was born at the dawn of human civilization. A nameless Babylonian War God raped his mother and the Curse is the product of that violation. Curse grew up to be a powerful warrior and the cruellest mage of his day, who wielded the power of chaos and the darkest of magic for thousand of years. Eventually the Curse was challenged by the Egyptian sorcerer named Nabu, and was defeated. Nabu did this by destroying Curse's physical body and trapped him in his own helm.

The Curse's Release

The Curse remained trapped for a millenia, until recently when he was set free from the helm and bonded with a thief known as Justin Guilder. Both of them seek to destroy Doctor Fate.
