Ronald "Ronnie" White is one of the two overarching antagonists (alongside Wesley Rhoades) of the 2007 film remake Rob Zombie’s Halloween. He is Deborah Myers' abusive boyfriend and one of the people responsible for turning Michael Myers into the serial killer he is known as.
He was portrayed by William Forsythe, who also played Pigiron in Savage Dawn, Flattop Jones in Dick Tracy, Richie Madano in Out for Justice, and as Buster Dawkins in the 2005 TV series Masters of Horror in the 2007 episode "We All Scream for Ice Cream".
Biography[]
Ronnie White was an ill-tempered man who lived at the Myers residence. He was the abusive boyfriend of Deborah Myers. How he came to know Deborah is also a mystery, but it is reasonable to assume that the two met while Deborah was working as a stripper at the Rabbit in Red Lounge. Ronnie White was involved in a motorcycle accident, which fractured his left leg, left arm and two fingers on his right hand.
On Halloween day, Ronnie once again was being loud and abusive towards Deborah and her family. He couldn't stand any of her three children. Although he did make remarks about Judith's body which upset Deborah. Angel Myers' crying also upset him as he told Deborah that all they do is "cry and shit". Michael was the one he hated the most as he didn't understand why he wore masks all the time, has pet rats and thought he would grow up to get a sex-change. When he discovered that Michael had been killing and mutilating pet animals, he told him "That is some deep-ass serious faggoty-ass shit".
That night Michael had finally snapped and he found him passed out drunk on the living room couch. Securing him to the chair with a large volume of duct tape, Michael slit Ronnie's throat open with a kitchen knife. He peered over him wearing a clown mask so that Ronnie knew exactly who it was that killed him. Afterward, Michael stabbed him multiple times in the face and chest. He is the 2nd victim of the remake Michael Myers.
Personality[]
Ronnie was a foul-mouthed and ill-tempered man who constantly yelled and was a jerk to those around him. He was highly perverted and made sexual comments about his own girlfriend's daughter. He was also something of a bully, as he seemed to enjoy verbally abusing Michael and throwing things at him, and he also pulled away a cereal box when Judith went to grab it. He rarely if ever referred to his girlfriend's children by name, and addressed Michael by various insults both in private conversations and directly to his face. He obviously did not genuinely care about Deborah, as they argued and insulted each other a lot. He had little in the way of morals, as he did not have problems making sexual comments about Judith despite her being his girlfriend's daughter and still a minor, nor did he have any restraint against using strong profanity in front of children, using homophobic insults on them, or threatening to beat them up.

- Originally, the character of Ronnie White was only supposed to have a broken arm. Actor William Forsythe had fractured his leg shortly before shooting so Rob Zombie incorporated the real injury into the script.
