Manannan is the chief antagonist of the computer game King's Quest III: To Heir is Human and King's Quest (2015), a wicked wizard who held the youth known as Gwydion prisoner for many years and treated him as a slave he is a cold-hearted figure with little regard for anyone save himself.

Manannan is also shown as being cruel, turning Gwydion into a snail as punishment when he fails to do a chore - yet restoring him to normal afterwards.

It is revealed later in the game that Manannan also kidnapped Gwydion, who was in reality a prince and heir to the throne called Alexander, after many adventures Gwydion returns and ends Manannan's evil reign via transforming the once proud wizard into a cat.

In King's Quest V: Absence Makes the Heart go Yonder, Manannan's brother Mordack kidnaps Alexander again along with the rest of his family and demands him to restore Manannan to human form. Alexander's father, King Graham, has to save them. Inside Mordack's castle, Manannan is encountered as a cat and will alert Mordack to Graham's presence when talked to (like all animals in the game, he is capable of speech). He is defeated by distracting him with a fish and then trapping him in a bag. It is unknown what happened to Manannan after this.

In King's Quest (2015), Manny, his other namessake, competed with Graham and other knights for the throne of Daventry. He manipulated Graham and later challenged him to a game of wits. And lost to Graham and ran away. Years later, he and his brother, Mordack, did business with Hagatha, a witch and later redeemed villainess. In an effort, to become human with a so-called potion.

Manny indeed become human and came to Daventry castle. He kidnapped Prince Alexander and you can find out that above in this page. Years afterward, Manny somehow turns himself into a sphinx. He used his manipulation of Queen Iceabella, Queen Valance's best friend, to toy with King Graham and his family.

When Queen Valance eventually helps Queen Iceabella. And Queen Iceabella returns to herself sort of and Manny viciously attacks and kills her. Then Manny puts King Graham and his family in another trap. Later, when King Graham is a senior.

Manny challenged him to prove he was still a traveler. He challenged King Graham with more puzzles and as usual King Graham beats him. Then Manannan challenges King Graham in a game of goblets. Manny loses to him and then he tries to destroy King Graham.

But thanks to Mordack, he and King Graham defeat and destroy Manny once and for all.
