Lynx Wylde is an antagonist from Extinctioners as well its spin-off series LAPDogs. He is perhaps one of the most vicious characters in the series (which is already quite dark), being comparable to a human sociopath and mass-murderer, made even worse in later stories when he is partnered with the equally psychotic human Hunter known as Stalker (together the pair are considered so dangerous even the other Hunters somewhat distrust them).
Lynx is also known as one of the most brutal sadists in the Hunters, rivalling Stalker, as he is shown as not only a serial rapist and feral, but also a mind-breaker who forces victims into horrific scenarios far beyond normal villainy, simply for his own pleasure.
Biography[]
Lynx Wylde is a feral, a humanimal with a strong connection to their ancient predatory nature. He believes that predators should hunt their prey, just like their ancestors did. Those who are too weak to stop him get what they deserve and deserve what they get. Lynx is violent, vicious, and bloodthirsty who puts no value on humanimal life. He is, pure and simply, a psychopath.
Lynx is a hybrid who has diamond hard razor sharp claws that can be extended up to a foot out from his finger tips, a regenerative factor and is stronger, faster, and otherwise physically superior to others of his type.
After being arrested and jailed for the murders of multiple female humanimals, he was freed due to a technicality, he vowed revenge on Cassie Collins, the prosecutor who almost put him away and attacked her in her home, but was stopped by her efforts as well as the efforts of her police-appointed guardians. Lynx was successfully tried for the murder of Amanda Risteard and attempted murders of Cassie Collins, Domino Doz, and the two detectives and sentenced to death. However, the night before the sentence was to be carried out, he was teleported out of his prison by another hybrid, Bajer Blaquestrype, leaving a bloody scene in his wake.
Powers and Abilities[]
Lynx can extend his claws several feet and these claws are more durable than normal, he also has enhanced strength and somewhat of a regenerative structure ,in addition to his "hybrid" powers he has the enhanced senses and predatory instincts of his wild cousins.
Trivia[]
- Lynx Wylde, Stalker, and Noah Adam Mahn are considered, by a large margin, the most evil characters in all of Extinctioners so far, which is a considerable feat as the series is Mature and often has extremely violent, cruel and remorseless villains. Wylde in particular is noted as one of the most truly sadistic killers in the series, with Stalker being a close second.
