Extroyer (sometimes called Troy Winter) is a major antagonist in the original Max Steel franchise. Serving as the main antagonist in Max Steel: Dark Rival and the secondary antagonist in Max Steel: The Toxic Legion, he was created when special agent Troy Winter was mutated after he merged with the Morphosos Crystal in a freak accident.

He was voiced by Brian Drummond, who also voiced his reboot counterpart.

History

Background

Extroyer is born.

Extroyer was born from Troy Winter, Max Steel's rival on the extreme sports circuit and in their fights around the world, where Troy stole three proton magnets from N-Tek and launch them into space for his boss Warren Hunter, the owner of Eclipse Industries, the rival company to N-Tek. Later hired by Hunter to obtain a fragmet from comet Morphosos, which was flying close to Earth's orbit, Troy fell to a volcano along with part of the meteorite during one his fights with Max, leading to the morphosos crystal fusing with Troy and his suit, turning him into Extroyer.

Dark Rival

Extroyer meets with Warren Hunter.

Having been left for death by Hunter, Extroyer returned to Eclipse Industries to get revenge on his boss, draining him of some of his energy, taking charge and forcing Hunter's robot assistant Iago to work for him. Traveling to an African nuclear plant, as the comet was passing through that continent, hoping to attract the comet further in order to steal its power, Extroyer drained the nuclear reactor to power up the magnets, destabilizing it and causing a meltdown. Fighting at the top of a cooling tower with Max, Extroyer followed him into the jungle and later drained the energy from a gorilla that was nearby, transforming into a mutated gorilla with the power of the morphosos crystal. After defeating Max, Extroyer tried to drain his energy but his turbo powers prevented him from doing so, choosing to instead go collect a piece of the comet that fell further into the jungle while leaving Max to deal with the nuclear meltdown.

Appearance

Troy had the Eclipse suit with a piece of Morphosis on his chest, falling into the lava temperature agreed on crystals to the body of Troy making Extroyer, taking the same appearance but discovered in the arm and left leg, chest crystals, skull and jaw, his head is brown coffee with small teeth and blue eyes, Bio-Crisis fight the same but with purple suit, acute and skull rebuilt with two eyes, voice returns in the toxic legion same but with rudest voice clearer crystals, and metallic blue suit.
