Onikage was a ninja-themed Duke Org and the titular main antagonist of the two-part Power Rangers Wild Force episode "The Master's Herald."
Onikage was voiced by Dan Woren who also voiced the Drill Master in Power Rangers Zeo and was later the voice of Medicon in Power Rangers Time Force as well as the original voice of Zen-Aku earlier in Wild Force.
Biography[]
Past[]
As with all Orgs, Onikage formed from toxic pools of muck and desired to conquer the Earth by turning it into a polluted wasteland; ideal for thier species. Led by the most powerful of thier kind, Master Org, the Orgs attacked the Earth and culminated in a final battle against the ancient kingdom of Animaria 3000 years ago. Although the Orgs managed to destroy the kingdom, Master Org and the vast majority of Orgs were killed with only Onikage, Retinax, Jindrax and Toxica. With no master, Onikage went into hiding.
Wild Force[]
In 2002, Onikage is approached by Master Org himself who has been reborn in the body of Viktor Adler. Recognising his master, he joins forces with him and is sent to lure the treacherous Mandilok.
After Mandilok's plan to trick Animus ultimately fails, Onikage appears to the Org leader and offers his services by approaching Jindrax and Toxica with a plan to capture Princess Shayla. After he gives them ninja outfits, the three Duke Orgs sneak onto the Animarium at night but Toxica touches the sacred water on the Animarium which hurts her. When her cries of pain alert the Power Rangers, Onikage quickly teleports himself and his cohorts away but Toxica is angrily reprimanded by Mandilok for messing up the plan. The ninja Duke Org goes to Toxica, offering a way to redeem herself and offers to cut off her horn which he says will make her immune to the water's effects. When she is reluctant to lose her horn, Onikage tells her they grew back so she goes through with it and goes to the Animarium disguised as Merrick while the ninja Duke Org summons illusions of previously defeated Orgs as a distraction.
The Rangers fight the illusions and found they cannot hit them but Merrick arrives and finds the invisible Onikage who he blasts to break the illusions and the ninja retreats. As they head back to the Animarium, Jindrax and some Putrids fight them as Onikage takes the opportunity to fire a bazooka blast at the group. Toxica manages to capture Princess Shayla and bring her to where Jindrax, Mandilok, and Onikage were waiting. However, she shows signs of weakening and Onikage denies knowledge of his lie when she repeats what the ninja Duke Org said. After the Rangers arrive and Toxica is destroyed by their Jungle Blaster, Onikage grew to giant size to fight them, whilst Mandilok leaves with Shayla and Jindrax. However, their attacks are dodged but Merrick manages to find the real ninja Duke Org again and blasts him, causing the giant illusion version of him to disappear.
Onikage retreats and later contacts the Rangers, telling them to come to the rock quarry if they want Princess Shayla back. After arriving, the ninja Duke Org offers to hold Mandilok's weapon for him, an offer the General Org accepts and he creates create shadow versions of the rangers which fight like they do and attacks they suffer happen to the Rangers. Mandilok compliments Onikage on his plan when suddenly Master Org appears and Onikage reveals that that he's been working for Master Org the entire time by helping him to get revenge on the Orgs who betrayed him and watches as his master destroys Mandilok. When Master Org compliments his loyal Duke Org for getting rid of the traitors, he turns his attention to Jindrax who teleports away with Shayla whilst the Rangers retreat and Onikage follows them.
Master Org takes the Shadow Rangers to find the real Rangers but instead finds Jindrax, defeating him and leaving him for dead before bringing Shayla to Master Org. Jindrax arrives and calls Master Org and Onikage completely evil before the ninja tries to use his shadow power on him.
However, the Duke Org uses a mirror to reflect the spell back at the ninja, creating a shadow version of him instead. Onikage cannot fight back against it and Cole manages to destroy the shadow, destroying the Duke Org as well who compliments Cole on the ninja-like move. Master Org uses some Org Seeds to resurrect him as a giant and the ninja pulls the Rangers into a phantom world. They are then confronted by the spirits of Orgs they had destroyed and summon the Wildzords to help them but the Wildzords form the Pegasus Megazord on their own and save the Rangers from the phantom world. The Pegasus Megazord then defeats the Org Spirits before freezing Onikage with the Isis Stare and slaying him with a variant on the Pachyderm Crusher.

- Teleportation: Onikage could teleport to any location at will in flashes of purple.
- Ninja Skills: Being a ninja-themed Org, Onikage possessed many advanced ninja skills.
- Skilled Swordsman: Onikage was a skilled swordsman capable of defeating all six Power Rangers at once.
- Ninja Illusions: Onikage could summon illusions of past dead Orgs to attack his enemies.
- Invisibility: Onikage could turn invisible at will.
- Shadow Manifestation: Onikage could manifest people's shadows to life to attack them.
Weaknesses[]
- Shadow Powers: Onikage was vulnerable to his own shadow generating abilities as seen when Jindrax made him use it on a mirror.
- Shadow Destruction: When Onikage accidentally destroyed his own shadow, it destroyed him as well.
Arsenal[]
- Katana: Onikage wielded a long silver katana as his weapons in combat.
- Bazooka: Onikage also wielded a bazooka that could fire white smoke blasts.
