Devolas in Luna Blanca
Devolas is the primary antagonist in Luna Blanca. Devolas is the evil and powerful engkanto initially presented in the form of black smoke with fiery eyes and mouth. He is ready to do whatever it takes to get what he wants. In his ruthless quest to get Rowena and Luna, he turned himself as an attracted man [Diego, played by Carlos Morales] for him to get close with them and earn their trusts. And so, he later captured them.
Personality[]
Devolas is the demonic embodiment of murderous evil. He is extremely sadistic, arrogant and completely ruthless. While taking the human form as Diego, he was forced to unleash trouble against the two lead heroines throughout the series. Although, Devolas was capapble of murdereing innocent people. He will stop at nothing until he is able to finish his duties. However, during the finale of the series, he would be brought to an eventual defeat by the hands of Blanca for good.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Smoke Manipulation: Devolas can create, shape and manipulate smoke, collection of airborne solid and liquid particulates and gases emitted when a material undergoes combustion or pyrolysis, together with the quantity of air that is entrained or otherwise mixed into the mass. It is commonly an unwanted by-product of fires, with smoke inhalation being the primary cause of death in victims of indoor fires. The smoke kills by a combination of thermal damage, poisoning and pulmonary irritation caused by carbon monoxide, hydrogen cyanide and other combustion products.
- Portal Creation: Devolas can open a hole in the universe connecting two non-adjacent locations. This may be done in a very neat manner, such as connecting two doorways in the universe, or it may be done very sloppily like breaking a rift in the space-time continuum. They may use Dimensional Manipulation to tear a tiny hole through two universes, use Spatial Manipulation to overlap two points in the universe or open a black hole or a wormhole connecting those two points. This ability may come in the form of a "Portable Portal", which allows users to make instant holes in anything the circle can be stuck to. Offensively, the user can create vortexes to suck in objects.
Weaknesses[]
- Dagger of Light: During the finale of the series, Blanca was able to transform the golden flower into the shining weapon. He was eventually killed Blanca throws the Dagger at him, thus weakening his dark powers and ending his life once and for all.
