The Cats are the main hostile species in the 1986 Hungarian animated film Cat City. The main antagonist of the film, Mr. Teufel belongs to this species. Their president and leader is the crime lord Mr. Gatto. All the cats are evil in the film, except for Mr. Teufel's accountant, Safranek, and his daughter, Cathy.
The cats have committed all kinds of crimes throughout the film to make the life of the mice misery. Such as burglary, or bank robbing, wich they did with a tank. They do bigger crimes such as hijacking planes. They are also organized in pirate gangs to raid the cargo mice's cargo ships.
Their goal to defeat and destroy the mice society in the Planet X. The only thing that can stop them is the secret weapon of the mice, the "Cat Catcher".
