Anson Russ is an antagonist in Degrassi, serving as the secondary antagonist of the season 11 premiere episode "Spring Fever". Anson is Bianca DeSousa's ex-boyfriend and a member of Vincent Bell's violent street gang. After he tries to rape Bianca and killed by the latter while fighting Drew Torres, this triggered Vince's wrath.
He was portrayed by Elias Edraki.
Biography[]
After Bianca wins a dance contest and gets tickets to a Keke Palmer concert, she meets Anson, who claims to be a fan of Keke Palmer. He tries to hit on her, but rejects his advances, despite having a drink with him. However, Drew finds them together, becoming angry and yells at her, which upsets her and goes outside.
Anson finds her and drags her to an alley, attempting to force himself onto her. Drew finds them and tries to overpowers Anson, who easily beats him. While continuing to kick to Drew, Bianca grabs a cinder block and uses it hit Anson on the head, killing him in the process. Bianca and Drew runs away from the scene and decide not to tell anyone about what happened.
In the next day, his death is seen on the newspapers, while the police and Anson's gang are looking for them after when they realized that Bianca left her bracelet in the alley, providing evidence of Anson's killer.
