Komand'r, better known as Blackfire is an antagonist of DC universe, being a major antagonist in the Teen Titans series. She is the older sister and former arch-nemesis of the Teen Titans member Starfire (born Princess Koriand'r) and less-known youngest brother Ryand'r/Darkfire.
Biography[]
Blackfire was the eldest child of the King and Queen of the lush planet Tamaran. However, tragedy struck when she was diagnosed with a illness that completely cut her off flying. Plus the people of Tamaran pointed out that when she was born, The Citadel Empire attacked Tamaran of Kysarr, killing roughly three thousand people. This automatically dethroned and shunned Blackfire and with the arrival of Starfire, she felt anger and hatred. In her eyes, Koriand’r took everything from her and all she wanted was for her sister to suffer.
Both sisters were later captured by the Psions, and were pumped full of solar energy, giving them their ability to shoot starbolts. Starfire escaped to Earth and joined the Teen Titans, while her sister had hunted her down.
Since her defeat, Blackfire has been one of the Teen Titans's greatest recurring and bitterest foes. She was recently stripped of her starbolts in a battle with Hawkman.

Blackfire makes her first debut in "Mr. Butt" where she escapes prison to visit Starfire at the Titans tower, and Starfire lets her into the tower, much to distrust and objection of other Teen Titans members.

Blackfire is a major antagonist in the 2018 DC Universe Show Titans, serving as a minor antagonist in the second season and a major protagonist in the third season. Blackfire is Starfire’s evil sister, after years of being treated lesser than her sister, then decided to kill her parents and seize the royal throne, After being reunited with Starfire, they mend their relationship, then she becomes a member of the Titans and serves as Superboy's love interest.
