Drayton Sawyer is a psychopathic cannibal, the oldest brother of the first Sawyer Family, a supporting antagonist in Texas Chain Saw Massacre, the main antagonist of Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, a minor antagonist in Texas Chainsaw 3D and an anti-villain in Leatherface.

He is portrayed by Jim Siedow in the first two films and Bill Moseley in Texas Chainsaw 3D, the latter of whom played Chop Top Sawyer in the second film.


Texas Chain Saw Massacre

Drayton was the owner of the Last Chance Gas Station, he helps Sally Hardesty and her friends during the film but after Sally is chased by Leatherface, Drayton tricks Sally and puts her inside of his car, later, Sally is awaken by Nubbins Sawyer who ties her up in a chair and prepares for dinner, Sally's blood is used to feed Grandpa Sawyer, while Drayton and his brothers are feeding Grandpa, Sally escapes and Drayton is left alone in the house while Nubbins dies and Leatherface fails to capture Sally.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2

Drayton returns in the sequel as a more malevolent character. He wins the competition using human-made chilies. He sends Leatherface and Chop Top Sawyer to kill Stretch and LG, who broadcast the events in the intro scene, Drayton later appears in his "new house" trying to feed Grandpa again, only to be interrupted by Lefty wanting revenge, Drayton later suicides when the grenade in his hand explodes prematurely.

Texas Chainsaw 3D

Drayton makes a minor appearance in the most recent film of the series, it was revealed that he is the father of Leatherface, he dies when Burt Hartman shoots the house.
