Donald "Don" Bottman is the sleazy scumbag mayor of Patterson, New Jersey, and the secondary antagonist in the hit movie Lean on Me.
He was portrayed by Alan North.
Biography[]
Don Bottman basically works with Leonna Barnett in trying to oust Joe Clark from East Side High. He is a sleazy scumbag who even talks pervertedly about Mrs. Barnett in a bathroom. It can be argued he's pro-union as well, since the real Joe Clark would be against it. He tries to oust Clark when he locks up the doors, sending his henchman, Chief Gaynes to arrest Clark on the spot.
