Saladene was a hitman for Luther's crime family and a character in the hit movie Straight Out of Brooklyn.

He was played by Joseph A. Thomas.

His time in the movie is short. But he plays some important roles. He is the one who recommends a young murdering kid into Luther's crime business. Luther is infuriated that he did this, apparently because he's lazy and incompetent, and threatens to give him a "royal ass whipping" if he does not get Luther his money. He gets beaten again by Luther, when he's robbed at gunpoint by Dennis and his buddies. He finally teams up with the kid and gets Ray and shoots him. He's got no qualms about smacking Kevin when Kevin warns him about what Luther will do to him if he doesn't successfully get his money.
