You're so damned happy in your safe little circle. Do you know where you'll be thirty years from now? Exercising... bargain hunting, 3-D TV in your back-pack jet. You'll have a boss on your neck, kids at your feet, head deep in debt, can't get to sleep. Cause you'll be thinking back to now, going, "I remember then...", but you don't, you missed it, and you'll miss it again. So when you're lying there crying out... "Where is enlightenment?" Just remember how... I told you now; it's in the sound... of one hand.

Deadpan Winchester is the main antagonist of the 1991 dark-noir movie, "Desire and Hell at Sunset Motel".

He is portrayed by British-born Canadian actor, writer, director and voice actor David Hewlett who is best known for his role as Dr. Rodney McKay on the American-Canadian sci-fi series, Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis and Stargate Universe.

Deadpan is a criminal with no mercy or remorse whatsoever.

He also appears to have two personalities: the calm, sane man in love with Bridget 'Bridey' DeSoto and the cold, unfeeling, ruthless and very psychopathic criminal who terrorizes those he meets.

This is shown when in the diner, with his patience having reached its limit, Deadpan approaches a man and begins telling him about where he'll be in thirty years time while clicking his fingers to the beat which seconds later causes all the people in the diner to flee, obviously having developed a fear of Deadpan.
