Dark Horse is the third boss from Sunset Riders. He earned his name for pillaging towns in his black horse, also earning a bounty of $30.000 over his head. The four bounty-hunters Steve, Billy, Bob and Cormano go after him in a town he was terrorizing. Dark Horse fights them in his horse, but ends defeated, being carried out by his horse.
Despite fighting on his horse, only Dark Horse himself is vulnerable, as the horse is equipped with plating to protect him from harm. The best strategy is to stay in the balcony and shoot him from there, as he can trample the player if he stays on the ground, though it is possible to slide under the horse's feet.
