DarkTyrannomon was a minor villain in some of the Digimon series. He was a servant to Myotismon, and a small army of DarkTyannomon were under the influence of of the Digimon Emperor's Dark Rings. DarkTyrannomon was once Tyrannomon but an evil computer virus infected it and mutated into DarkTyrannomon.
Appearance
DarkTyrannomon is a giant Champion level Dinosaur Digimon shaped like a T-Rex (Tyrannosaurus Rex). It's skin color is black with blood red stripes on it's body. It has green spines on it's back, and belts wrapped on it's hand.
Digimon Adventures 01
The first DarkTyrannomon the kids encountered was one of Myotismon's minions. He first appeared when Myotismon isolated Odaiba from the rest of Tokyo in his search for the Eighth Child (Which is Tai's little sister, Kari). Mr. Ishida and his friends had a close run-in with him but escaped unharmed. DarkTyrannomon reared his head again when the captive populace of Odaiba attempted to escape from the convention center. Togemon battled him but she was outmatched. DarkTyrannomon was all set to finish off Mimi's parents when Mimi's Crest began to glow, allowing Togemon to Digivolve to Lillymon. Lillymon used a flower chain to tame the savage beast, rendering him harmless. Then Myotismon showed up and blasted DarkTyrannomon back to the Digital World. In the Japanese version however, Myotismon actually killed him at that moment.
Digimon Adventures 02
The Digimon Emperor commonly used DarkTyrannomon as his muscle. They first appeared when the Digimon Emperor sent them on SkullGreymon, whom defeated them easily, and then on the DigiDestined's Digimon defeated the DarkTyrannomon again while the Emperor attatched the prototype Dark Spiral to Agumon and made them guard his base. Another DarkTyrannomon invaded the Real World and attacked Matt's concert among the Digimon that crashed Matt's concert, but was defeated by being sent back to the Digital World.
Digimon Xros Wars
Several DarkTyrannomon were Dorbickmon's minions. They were killed by OmegaShoutmon.
