Dario is the secondary antagonist in the 1989 James Bond film License to Kill. He is Franz Sanchez's main right-hand man and senior personal henchman whose treated like kin by Sanchez himself.
He was portrayed by famous actor Benicio Del Toro in his first villain portraying in his cinematic career. He would go on to play Fred Fenster in The Usual Suspects, Jack Rafferty in Sin City, and Lado in Savage and later D.J in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
Biography
Dario is one of Franz Sanchez's closest henchmen and is treated like kin by Sanchez. He is the leader of the gang of thugs kidnapping James Bond's newly married CIA friend Felix Leiter and also responsible of the rape and killing of his bride, Della.
Later, he observes how Felix is partially fed to some sharks and smiles about it.
He also briefly fights Bond later on in a bar and near the end of the film, after Bond has caused a fire in Sanchez drug factory, he stays behind, as the other villains gets away, to make sure Bond falls down into a grinder device from a conveyor. However, Bond manages to grab Dario's foot and pull the psychotic villain into the grinder, where he promptly meets an agonizing death.
