On the first night, the Lords of Lies emerge from within, their nailbeds crusted with yeast
~ The cult leader during his speech.

The Cult Leader is a minor antagonist the 2016 video game Dead Rising 4, the fourth and final installement of the Dead Rising series.

He is the new leader of the True Eye cult, who wants to carry on the legacy of his late predecessor leader Sean Keanan by killing the survivors in sacrificial rituals during the new Willamette outbreak.

His voice actor is unknown.

Biography[]

In one of the calls, Paula tells Frank West that there is a mysterious cult in the city of Willamette (something that does not surprise him) that intends to rescue survivors and asks him to investigate the site.

After his arrival, the cult leader is shown giving a speech to the members to prepare for the sacrificial rituals, but is interrupted by Frank West and they begin attacking him. In his attempts to kill him, he caused the loss of several members until he ended up being killed by him.

Trivia[]

  • The Leader's clothes resemble the clothes worn by Sean Keanan, the original leader of the True Eye. This could possibly imply that at some point in his life, he may have been named as a successor to either Sean or another unknown and unnamed cult leader in between the events of Dead Rising and Dead Rising 4.
    • Although implicitly it is the same cult of Willamette due to the clothes of the members and the methods that they were going to commit with the survivors.
  • Like the other maniacs in Dead Rising 4, he doesn't have cutscenes and they don't tell the story, but it is explained that he is the new leader leading the town's murderous cult.
