Cirucci Sanderwicci is the 105th Arrancar, as well as one of the Privaron Espada, and a villain from Bleach.
HistoryAfter Ichigo Kurosaki and his friends infiltrated Las Noches to save Orihime Inoue, Uryu Ishida found his way into Cirucci’s chamber. He struggled to fight her and was forced to take cover behind pillars while being attacked by her unique Zanpakuto. Cirucci taunted Uryu, but when he tried to shoot an arrow at her, she blocked with her Zanpakuto and told the Quincy not to attack her while she was talking. She resumed her assault, while making fun of his outfit, but Uryu said she had not right to talk. He eventually fired another arrow at Cirucci and she sent her Zanpakuto at it, but the arrow moved on its own to head right for the Arrancar. She dodged and Uryu came to the conclusion, her Zanpakuto could only move in a straight line, so he should attack from unexpected directions. The Quincy began attacking Cirucci from all directions and eventually sent three arrows at her, but she demonstrated her Zanpakuto could turn on its own and took out of all of them. Cirucci revealed that it was just a trick so Uryu would break all the pillars, getting rid of any cover he could use. The Arrancar stated there were too many for her to break and attacked, eventually succeeding in cutting him. Cirucci started to mock Uryu and was about to finish the battle, until she noticed Pesche Guatiche watching. She proceeded to smash him into a pillar and after Uryu and Pesche go in an argument, Cirucci interrupted by sending her Zanpakuto at him. She then wondered what the “white ant” was to which Pesche angrily retorted, he preferred to be called a stag beetle. When Uryu pointed out a stag beetle was black, the two started arguing, but was interrupted by Cirucci attacking them. She realized that Pesche was the Quincy’s friend, which prompted them to start arguing again as Cirucci resumed her assault. However Pesche started expelling slippery fluid to make her Zanpakuto harmless and said she couldn’t win anymore. He then said he didn’t want to see up her skirt anymore, prompting Cirucci to angrily assault him with her Zanpakuto. She managed to swing it in a pattern that couldn’t be hit by Pesche’s fluid, but Uryu saved him again. Pesche sent out more fluid, which Cirucci dodged, but she found that all the pillars were covered in it. She slipped off and fell to the ground, prompting Uryu to say it was sad that she was losing because of that. Cirucci proceeded to release her Zanpakuto, which cut several pillars down, and said they were going to die right now since all the two of them did was embarrass and mock her. After Cirucci introduced herself as the 105th Arrancar and wondered to herself who she would slay first, she attacked, cutting down more pillars. Uryu and Pesche started fleeing again, but their path was blocked by one of Cirucci’s blades and she told them stop running. The Quincy’s arrows were negated by her blades’ vibration and Uryu told Pesche to run away, but he just told Cirucci to attack him instead. She surprised him by doing so, making Uryu save him again, while Cirucci decided that she was just going to kill both of them. The two ran for it and eventually started to argue again, but the Arrancar attacked them again. Uryu dodged and appeared with Pesche on a pillar behind Cirucci, which she believed was the Shunpo technique. The Quincy corrected her and revealed it was actually Hirenkyaku, but the Arrancar said there wasn’t a difference and attacked again. He dodged and Cirucci asked how long he could keep running, before Pesche told Uryu to use him as a shield to give him a chance to attack. He attempted to do so, before being slammed into the wall by one of Cirucci’s blades, but he survived and Uryu got him off to the sidelines. The Quincy continued taking on the Arrancar’s blades, but he noticed that they kept vibrating even after leaving Cirucci. The blades returned to her, as Uryu thought he wouldn’t get the chance to hit her as long as she had them. Cirucci sent out more blades, but he took out his Seele Schnieder and cut them in half, much to her shock. She acknowledged Uryu as a Quincy and he was pleased she knew of his clan, but Cirucci replied that all she knew was that they were killed by Shinigami. Uryu proceeded to cut her left wing and explained how his Seele Schnieder worked, which made it effective against high vibrating weapons. Cirucci decided to shed much of her Resurrección and Uryu asked if all Arrancar could do that at will. She explained she couldn’t use the form again and that the Resurrección form was an Arrancar regained the powers they had as a Hollow. Cirucci went on to explain that to obtain a human form, Arrancar sealed their power in the form of a Zanpakuto and shedding her Resurrección form was like burning one’s arm off. Cirucci then said her Resurreción form took a lot to maintain and because it couldn’t do anything against Uryu, she might as well get rid of it. As she spoke, the 105th Arrancar sprouted a tail-like appendage from her headpiece and fan-like blade of spiritual energy opened on the end. The measures Cirucci had taken shocked Uryu, but she said for Arrancar, winning was the only choice and defeat was unacceptable. Cirucci attacked with Uryu blocking with his Seele Schnieder, making a nick in her blade, and she changed it into more of a sword shape. She said in a swordfight, whoever’s blade had the longest reach would win, but Uryu revealed Seele Schnieders vibrated to more easily capture spiritual energy particles from the surroundings. Energy particles from Cirucci’s blade began to leave it and combined with the Seele Schnieder, much to her shock. She angrily attacked, but Uryu revealed the arrow form of the sword, firing it into Cirucci’s chest and bringing her down. The Quincy left her alive since he’d hit her in a spot that had taken away her ability to fight. Uryu left with Pesche and Cirucci struggled to get up when Rudbornn Chelute and the Exequias arrived, who finished her off. Her body was given to Szayel Aporro Granz, which he used to get information about how Uryu fought.
Cirucci is rude, self-confident, and somewhat of a sadist, but often points out when someone has similar traits. She is annoyed by enemies attacking her when she’s talking and would do anything it takes to defeat her opponent. When Cirucci is asked if she worries about people looking up her wide skirt, she states that it isn't possible and she wears armor underneath it.
PowersCirucci has a high level of spiritual power and superhuman strength, as well as skill in thinking of strategies to use against her opponents. She is quite skilled at using her uniquely designed Zanpakuto, Golondrina, which takes the form of a whip with a disc shaped blade on the end. Cirucci can control how it moves in the air, almost to the point where it follows her enemy. Like all Arrancar, she can release her Zanpakuto with the release command, “Rip Off” (Rip in the English dub). In this form, Cirucci becomes more powerful and can send out the blades that make up her wings as projectiles and call them back to her body. Her wings vibrate at about 1,100,000 to 1,300,000 times a second, which increases their cutting ability and lets them deflect spiritual energy. However the arms and wings of Cirucci’s Resurreccíon form consume much of her energy, but she can shed them to overcome the problem. When she does so, she uses a tail with a blade of spiritual energy on the end as her weapon and she can alter the shape of it. However when Cirucci does this, the change is permanent.
- The name of Cirucci’s Zanpakuto is “Swallow” in Spanish and “Car Wheel Iron Swallow” in Japanese.
- She has appeared in Bleach: Heat the Soul 5, 6, and 7, where she can attack the opponent with the bladed wings or energy bladed tail of her Resurrección form.
- Cirucci's outfit resembles the Gothic lolita style of Japanese fashion.
