Chancellor Cole is the main antagonist of the 2009 action-adventure game The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks.
He is a manipulative politician and an advisor to the Royal Family of New Hyrule, whom Princess Zelda is suspicious of. Revealed to be a demonic servant of the Demon King Malladus, Cole proceeds to murder Zelda and plots to use her body as a vessel to revive Malladus and conquer New Hyrule.
Biography[]
He was the royal adviser to Zelda until she decided to investigate why the Spirit Tracks were disappearing. She had gotten on a train with Link which soon became derailed due to the disappearing tracks. He is the one who actually killed Zelda using a shot of darkness. He wore two green hats to cover up his twin horns. His right-hand man was Byrne, until Cole betrays him.
His plan was to resurrect the demon king, Malladus, and eventually succeeded, although his plan to have Malladus possess Zelda's body was foiled, so Malladus possessed Cole instead, turning into a large demonic beast. When Zelda was revived, and she and Link destroyed Malladus, Cole was destroyed along with him.
