The villain with the most influence over the plot, the setting of the story and even the life of the protagonists; most often one of the primary antagonists, usually the Big Bad but it is more of the Right-Hand enforcer in order to keep the Big Bad more mysterious and scary. These villains have the biggest role all over the story and without them there would be no story to begin with. It is also the evil counterpart of The Hero.

NOTE: Merely setting the action is not enough to fit in this category.
