The villain with the most influence over the plot, the setting of the story and even occasionally the life of the protagonists; most often one of the primary antagonists, usually the Big Bad though they can at times be the Right-Hand enforcer in order to keep the Big Bad more mysterious and scary as they tend to be more active in terms of backstory and relation to the protagonists. These villains have the biggest role all over the story and without them there would be no story to begin with. It is also the evil counterpart of The Hero.
NOTE: Merely setting the action is not enough to fit in this category they must be the cause for the series to exist to begin with.
