Villains in this category were last seen in situations that they were not expected to survive, but given that they weren't seen dying, or their bodies or remains weren't found, they could possibly or might still be alive and are plotting to return someday in the future. Yet, their fates and statuses are currently unknown.

Note : Do not add Karma Houdinis, Revived, Damned Souls or Undead because they don't fit the category.

• These villains do not count as Karma Houdinis unless the presumed death was of natural causes (e.g. Toplofty and O'Bloat, Donald Love, Mr. Grasping, Warren T. Rat, Orca, King Barlowe and Nefretiri) or if they’re more likely to have survived and escaped rather than died (e.g. Rasmin Yelkov, Flumpty Bumpty and Huggy Wuggy).
• However, they can count as Scapegoats if they have only committed minor villainous acts.
• Also, do not add villains who are confirmed dead under this category, as those types of villains are confirmed to be dead, while villains in this category are only presumed to be.
  • However, while a few villains on here are confirmed to be officially deceased in their home wiki, for the sake of this wiki, they can still be listed here due to having no visible proof such as a corpse to back up their death, leaving the viewer with speculation on whether or not they're still alive or dead (e.g. Kang the Conqueror (MCU), Dave (Total Drama), Tatanga).
  • They can also be inconclusive, meaning that their fates are left truly unknown because the authors don't make stories anymore or their show/movie/ game got cancelled or ended (e.g. Jesus Rossi, Eteon Director, Red Death (Arrowverse)).
