The Cassosaurus is a mutated ankylosaurid that debuted in Battle of Giants: Dinosaurs Strike for the Wii, and makes his return in Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs 3D. He is one of the Mutated Dinosaurs that is commanded by the Arkosaurus into helping him take over the planet.
Physical Appearance[]
The Cassosaurus has many spikes on his body, giving him a more fearsome appearance that his contemporary, Ankylosaurus. Some spikes come out from above the shoulder, some from above the elbows, and a horn juts out from his nose, like that of triceratops, and from its chin. He has three forward-curving spikes on his tail club (four in Dinosaurs 3D).

Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs Strike[]
Cassosaurus appears as an unlockable Mighty Tank in this game. In Domination, he can only be fought against, as the ninth dinosaur, if the player plays as an Ankylosaurus or Scolosaurus.
Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs 3D[]
Cassosaurus returns, as the second level's boss Ankylosaurid. Like other Defenders, his weakness is dodge-and-attack counterstrikes.
Trivia[]
- Cassosaurus has three spikes on his tail club in Dinosaurs Strike, but in Dinosaurs 3D, he has four spikes for an unknown reason.
- Similar to the Naxocertops, you have to enter a five-digit code to unlock him. In this case, you have to enter 09182.
