Biography[]
Past[]
Canady was originally an officer in the Galactic Empire Starfleet, serving as the commander of the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Solicitude. After the Empire's fall, Canady went on to join the First Order, being made the captain of the Mandator IV-class Siege Dreadnought Fulminatrix.
Attack on D'Qar[]
Canady and his ship were part of a fleet under the command of General Hux that attempted to shoot down the Resistance forces as they evacuated D'Qar, the home of the Resistance headquarters. Though Canady managed to destroy some Resistance fighters, a Resistance squad under the leadership of Commander Poe Dameron seized the opportunity to destroy the Mandator IV-class Siege Dreadnought.
Poe destroyed the point defense cannons on the surface of the Fulminatrix, allowing the Resistance bomber squad to come in and bomb the starship. While most were shot down before they could get near the ship, Gunner Paige Tico managed to get through and drop her ship's bombs on the Fulminatrix. Accepting that he had been beaten, Canady stood firm and met his end as his ship exploded around him.
