A fool's errand, boy! Ye shall not defeat the mighty Captain Black Fridaybeard! Ha Har!
~ Captain Black Fridaybeard

Captain Black Fridaybeard is a minor antagonist the 2016 video game Dead Rising 4, the fourth and final installement of the Dead Rising series.

He is the mascot of the Willamette Memorial Megaplex Mall's Black Friday sale who has been driven mad by the new zombie outbreak, making himself believe he is a real pirate on a real ship, causing several survivors to be kidnapped with the help of crazed employees dressed as pirates and sharks to kill and eat them.

His voice actor is unknown.

Biography[]

In one of the calls, Paula tells Frank West that there are ''prisoners'' on the pirate ship in Caribbean Cove and to go investigate the madness that is happening there. During Frank's arrival at the site, cannons are heard being fired and Captain Black Fridaybeard preparing to launch the survivors.

So Frank West enters the ship, and faces his entire crew until he kills Captain Black Fridaybeard, after defeating him, he frees the survivors and they escape the place.

Trivia[]

  • He is the third psychopath in the Dead Rising series, who works as an entertainer at the mall and who goes insane due to the zombie outbreak, the others being Adam MacIntyre and Sadistic Claus. Coincidentally, they all worked as entertainers at the Willamette Mall.
  • Like the other maniacs in Dead Rising 4, he doesn't have cutscenes, but they logically tell the story and the reason of how he lost his sanity after the zombie outbreak.
