The Black Galleon is a black version of the Gokaigers' Gokai Galleon. It serves as the base of the Zangyack remnant led by Bacchus Gill, allied with Enter and Vaglass in searching for the Phantom Ranger Keys.
After the Gokaigers were defeated and captured on the Zangyack homeworld, with the real GokaiGalleon destroyed, they were forced to pretend to join Zangyack. The Black Galleon came to Earth and launched an attack which was met by the Go-Busters. The Go-Busters and Gokaigers eventually joined forces, but the five Phantom Keys were unfortanutely claimed by Enter and Bacchus Gill, who used them to have the Black Galleon open a portal to subspace, large enough to envelop the entire Earth. However, the Black Galleon was suddenly attacked by the real GokaiGalleon piloted by Navi, the ship having been taken from the past. The Gokaigers and Go-Busters appeared to confront the villains, with Gokai Red and Red Buster departing to retrieve the Phantom Keys. Bacchus' subordinate Waredonaier stood in their way, just to be confronted and defeated by Kyoryu Red and his team, allowing the two Red heroes to move forward. Once at the Black Galleon, Captain Marvelous and Hiromu retrieved the Phantom Keys but the machine powering up the subspace kept on working and before they had a chance to stop it, they were called back to assist their teammates against a combined attack of Bacchus and Enter. The Go-Busters and Gokaigers proceeded to board their Giant Robos, fighting alongside each other to destroy the giant Bacchus Gill, Enter's Vaglass Megazord and the Black Galleon, forcing Enter to flee and shutting down the subspace machine.
- When the Black Galleon is attacked by the real GokaiGalleon, they would appear to be the same size, the only exterior difference being the color and the Zangyack escutcheon in place of the Gokaiger symbol. Thus the specifications are assumed to be identical to that of the GokaiGalleon.
- The Black Galleon is not the first evil pirate ship faced by the Gokaigers. Los Dark, the villain of the summer movie Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger the Movie: The Flying Ghost Ship, possessed a large flying ghost ship.
- Furthermore, Los Dark also possessed a Fake GokaiOh, with several differences to GokaiOh including a predominantly black color scheme, though the five colors of the Gokaigers individual Gokai Machines are still present but to a limited extent. Thus, one of Fake GokaiOh's components would be a similar black GokaiGalleon, though the Robo never separated in the film.
