Barney the Dinosaur is a dinosaur from the popular children's show "Barney and Friends", quickly being

despised by both older children and adults alike, has been often depicted as as being very evil in parodies as a result, usually as a vicious, people–eating monster and/or a child abuser, most notably on the Jihad To Destroy Barney where he is depicted as a demon who leads an army of demonic creatures and sponge minions (people converted to his cause by his television programming) and other such websites.

The notion that the show is saccharine, boring, annoying, sugary, dangerous and/or uneducational has made the program an immensely popular target for ridicule by people everywhere of all ages in the United States and elsewhere across the world.

He has occasionally been depicted as being extremely powerful as well, although in general this is associated with him being a demon or some other supernatural entity.

Evil Barney Busdriver-Barney is depicted as an alcoholic, a drug addict, and a child abuser who is also a bus driver.

Evil Barney Babysitter-Barney neglects two children while babysitting them.

Day of the Barney-a fanfic that depicts Barney as a demonic force in the guise of a television show host, who perishes after his arm is shot off at the elbow and is later shot by the female protagonist. He later returns in the sequel, where it is revealed that he is in fact immortal, although technically he can be killed albeit not truly.

Jihad to Destroy Barney-one of the parody websites mentioned above.

"The Barney Bunch" is a group of homosexual rapists which Barney is a member of. However, despite being the namesake of the group, he is not the leader; the leader of the Barney Bunch and its gayest member is Drew Pickles.

Some people have even rewinded his song and made up the lyrics to make it seem extremely vulgar and utterly absurd.
