The Attic, Basement and Beyond Shadow is one of the 5 central villains of the Nightmare Ned videogame.
Role in the Story
The Attic, Basement and Beyond Shadow first appears in the opening with the rest of the shadows as they begin stalking Ned Needlemeyer. Eventually, they reach his bedroom and possess his quilt, consequently sending Ned into the nightmare worlds.
Once all of the challenges in the Attic, Basement and Beyond Nightmare were beaten, the Attic, Basement and Beyond Shadow is revealed to be a young girl named Sally, and the second head is revealed to be a doll named Sandy Patty Cake who was found in the garbage by Sally sometime ago.
When the other shadows were defeated, they, along with the Attic, Basement and Beyond Shadow merge together to create an evil, gigantic version of Ned. However, thanks to some help that Ned receives, he defeats the shadows who are left without a mind to torment when Ned awakens without his previous fears.
The Attic, Basement and Beyond Shadow is, like most of the other shadows, rather thin, especially when it comes to her arms. She is, however, the only shadow with two heads. Both heads have green eyes, but one head has eyes farther up her head than the other.
The Attic, Basement and Beyond Shadow has an eerie air to her character, which is mainly due to her childish dialogue and her whisper-like voice. She has a fascination with disturbing things, which she uses to torment Ned with on many occasions. The ABB Shadow also loves to be playful and sadistic, often setting up strange and dangerous traps for Ned, most likely for her own childish delight. Ultimately, however, she is the most mysterious of the shadows, as her behavior often makes her seem like there's more to her than what people would first perceive.
