Ares is the God of War, the son of Zeus and the brother of Perseus. He is a minor character in the 2010 movie Clash of the Titans and the secondary antagonist in his 2012 sequel Wrath of the Titans.
He was portrayed by Tamer Hassan in Clash of the Titans and by Edgar Ramirez in Wrath of the Titans.

Ares became jealous that his father, Zeus favors his half-brother Perseus more than him. So he aids Hades into capturing Zeus and taking his power to free Kronos. Unlike Hades, however, Ares doesn't reform.
